Mediacom Review Traffic Increase
A few weeks ago I reached my tipping point with Mediacom’s terrible service and decided to use my personal website as a way to express my complete dissatisfaction with them. I wrote a fairly detailed, very accurate, and unfortunately honest Mediacom review outlining all of the the problems I have had with their services. I don’t want to repeat myself, so if you want to read the review you can find it here.
After circulating the review around a bit, I decided that it would not be fair if I did not at least try to push the review to upper management at Mediacom for review. If someone was talking about my company in this manner, I would definitely want to know about it, mainly for the reason of doing what I could to solve their problems and keep them as a client.
To be fair, I was sent an email yesterday stating that the issue has been forwarded to upper management, and that they were indeed going to do whatever it took to solve the problems, even if it meant replacing hard lines in our area. The only downfall is that we have no idea when the work will start or how long it will take.
Over the past few days I have noticed the Mediacom Communications Corp service provider traffic increases to my site. I later found out that this is actually the service provider name for the Mediacom offices around the country. More interesting was that most of the traffic for these searches was coming from Des Moines, Iowa, which I believe is the headquarters for Mediacom. There have been 27 visits to my website from their headquarters already today

Hopefully they have been able to read my review and are working on solving the problems we’re having here in Georgia.
I’ve also recorded traffic from 24 U.S. states since the article was published, and traffic has shown an overwhelming increase this week alone.

I need broadband and I feel that I am a victim here. When you have pirates out there and its available to our consumers I feel you should be going after them not the consumer. I want my service back please. I have been under Doctors orders that I could not work and this was my salvation. Please let me have my broadband. I’ve been miserable ever sense you took it away from me.

I have been a Mediacom customer for over 22 years and back then it was Simmons cable before Mediacom bought them out. I had my bad times with there service and I coped with them. I had no choice as they Monopolized the area I live. I own my home and believe me when I say this, if I rent I would have found another area with better service. Than when my son came of age he is now in a technical school learning computers. And yea he made a few mistakes downloading stuff free and realizing that they were illegal. And did it 3 times. Which means 3 strikes your out. I have had a business for over 23 years here and served my community and now that I’m not able to work the internet kept me going until this happened. I have joined a Emergency clan of emergency fans that you play online with other pro’s and now I can’t because mediacom shut me down. I’m now stuck with wi Fi internet and now I can’t perform as I did. While I was in business I had to rely on internet for my clients and charging credit cards to get paid. during the time in 2002 I was in business I have found my self catching the area burglar and the police have been on his trail for a long time. So I dropped him in there lap. I always kept my eye out when I traveled as a concern business man.
